No catch. The free plan gives you a real dashboard — 1 board, 5 tiles, full API access, real-time updates, and unlimited viewers. No credit card, no trial clock. We make money when you grow enough to want more dashboards or tiles, not by limiting who can see your data.
Why is Pro so much cheaper than other dashboard tools?
Because we don’t charge per viewer or per seat. Most tools in this space make their money by metering access — every person who needs to see a dashboard costs extra. We charge a flat $9/month for what you build and let you share it with anyone, free. Simpler model, lower price.
Can people view my dashboard without an account?
Yes — that’s the whole idea. Your dashboard is a public URL. Anyone you share it with sees live data instantly, no login, no signup. This also means dashboards aren’t private by default — EasyBoard is built for data you want visible. If you need login-gated dashboards, we’re honestly not the right tool today.
What happens when I hit a limit?
You’ll see a clear message when you try to add a 6th tile or a 2nd dashboard on the free plan. API calls past your hourly limit return a rate-limit response with the reset time. Nothing breaks — you just upgrade when you’re ready.
How do I upgrade, and can I cancel?
Click Upgrade on this page or your account page — checkout is handled securely by Lemon Squeezy, and your plan activates the moment payment clears. Pro is monthly with no contract. Cancel anytime; you keep Pro until the end of the billing period, then revert to free limits. Your existing dashboards stay — we never delete what you’ve built.
Will my data be deleted on the free plan?
Only if a free dashboard goes completely untouched for 30 days — no updates, no views logged. As long as it’s in use, it stays. Pro dashboards are retained indefinitely.
What EasyBoard isn't
We're a live display board, not an analytics platform. EasyBoard shows your numbers right now — not 90-day trends, not charts, not historical analysis. There's no alerting, and dashboards are public by design.
If you need time-series history, threshold alerts, or private login-gated dashboards, a tool like Grafana or Databox will serve you better, and we'll happily point you there. If you want a live number on a shareable screen in five minutes, you're in the right place.
