Terms of Service

Effective date: April 4, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EasyBoard platform, including the website at easyboard.live, its APIs, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

"EasyBoard," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operators of the EasyBoard platform. "You" and "your" refer to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service. A "Dashboard" is a collection of data tiles you create and manage through the Service. A "Tile" is an individual data element displayed on a Dashboard.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts and Access

Accounts are created using an email address. Authentication is handled via magic link emails — there are no passwords. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Each dashboard is assigned a write token that grants API write access. You are responsible for keeping your write tokens confidential. Sharing a write token with a third party grants them the ability to modify your dashboard data.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, or export control laws
  • Post, transmit, or store content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harassing, threatening, hateful, or promotes violence or discrimination against any individual or group
  • Post, transmit, or store profane, vulgar, or offensive content intended to harass, intimidate, or abuse others
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or any other malicious code, or use the Service to conduct phishing, spam, or fraud
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or any related systems or networks
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including circumventing rate limits, overloading infrastructure, or exploiting vulnerabilities
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the Service beyond what is provided through the documented API
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
  • Use the Service for any activity that facilitates or promotes illegal transactions, including the sale of controlled substances, weapons, or stolen goods
  • Use the Service to store or display sensitive personal data such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health records, or government-issued identification numbers

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any use that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, including suspending or terminating your account and reporting activity to law enforcement where required by law.

5. Service Plans and Billing

The Service offers a free plan and paid plans. The free plan is subject to usage limits including the number of dashboards, tiles per dashboard, and API calls per hour. These limits are described on our pricing page and may change at any time with reasonable notice.

Paid plans are billed on a monthly recurring basis. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to affected users.

6. Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We collect and store your email address for authentication purposes and your dashboard content for the operation of the Service. API usage metadata (request counts, timestamps) is logged for rate limiting and service integrity.

Dashboards on the free plan that have not received any updates for 30 consecutive days may be automatically deleted. This retention policy does not apply to paid plans. We recommend exporting any data you wish to preserve before an extended period of inactivity.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by EasyBoard and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

You may use the EasyBoard API as documented to integrate with third-party tools and services. You may not reproduce, modify, or redistribute the Service itself, or remove any proprietary notices from the Service.

8. Availability and Support

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss resulting from service interruptions.

Support is provided on a best-effort basis for free plan users. Paid plan users receive email support as described on the pricing page. Response times are not guaranteed.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if your account has been inactive for an extended period, or if required to comply with legal obligations.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data following termination in accordance with our data retention practices. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability, intellectual property, and indemnification) will remain in effect.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EasyBoard and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, regardless of the theory of liability. Our total cumulative liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or fifty US dollars (US$50).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EasyBoard and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where practicable, notify you via the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable plan terms or policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and EasyBoard regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
